Frequently asked questions
Start with the simple answer.
Everything you need to know about content, devices, playback, syncing, privacy, and billing.
Does PeekTv include TV channels or movies?
No. PeekTv is a media player. You need your own subscription from a provider of your choice. PeekTv does not provide, sell, host, promote, or endorse channels, movies, streams, or providers.
What do I need to use PeekTv?
An iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV and account details from your provider: either an Xtream Codes server address, username, and password, or an M3U playlist URL.
Which devices are supported?
PeekTv is built for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. There is no Android or web player at this time.
What formats can it play?
PeekTv uses the VLC playback engine, so it can handle most common stream, video, audio, and subtitle formats, including MKV, TS, MP4, and HLS.
Can I use more than one provider?
Yes. Add multiple playlists, personalize each one, and switch between them without signing out or rebuilding your library.
Does it sync between iPhone and Apple TV?
Yes. When devices use the same Apple ID, iCloud can sync playlists, favourites, settings, and watch progress automatically.
Can I watch offline?
Yes. Movies and episodes can be downloaded for offline playback on iPhone and iPad.
Is there a TV guide?
Yes. PeekTv includes a full electronic program guide with schedules and program reminders on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Guide data is supplied by your provider.
How do I join the beta?
Use the Join the beta button and tell us which Apple devices and content source type you can test. Never email your provider password or playlist URL.
How much will PeekTv cost?
Beta access is free. Public launch plans and regional prices will be published after they are finalized in the App Store.
Is my IPTV login safe?
Credentials are stored on your devices and may be included in your private iCloud backup when that feature is enabled. Never send your password or complete playlist URL to PeekTv support.
