Terms of use

Fair terms for a straightforward player.

These terms supplement Apple’s standard licensed application end-user licence agreement.

Important:

PeekTv supplies a media player only. You are responsible for the services you connect and must only access content you are legally entitled to use.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using PeekTv, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls to the extent required.

2. Licence

Subject to these terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PeekTv on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

3. No content or provider service

PeekTv does not provide, sell, host, transmit, link to, promote, recommend, or endorse television channels, movies, series, streams, playlists, IPTV subscriptions, or providers. We are not affiliated with any provider, broadcaster, studio, rights holder, or distributor.

4. Your responsibilities

You must only connect services and access content you have the legal right to use. You are responsible for complying with copyright, licensing, communications, and other laws that apply in your location. You are also responsible for your provider account, credentials, billing, availability, and service quality.

5. Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, misuse, disrupt, copy, resell, or exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits. You may not use PeekTv to infringe rights, bypass access controls, or facilitate illegal distribution.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

If PeekTv offers paid plans at public launch, purchases will be processed by Apple through your Apple ID. The app and App Store product page will show the price, billing period, included features, renewal terms, and any trial before you confirm a purchase. You can manage or cancel an active subscription in your App Store account settings.

7. Beta access and trials

TestFlight beta access is for evaluation and may change or end. Beta access is not a promise of continued free service. Any public-launch trial will be subject to the eligibility and terms displayed by Apple before purchase.

8. Refunds

Apple handles purchases and refund eligibility. Submit requests through reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support.

9. Third-party services

The app may communicate with your IPTV provider, Apple, TMDB, and an optional Trakt account. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, billing, or privacy practices.

10. Intellectual property

PeekTv and its original interface, branding, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeekTv is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee that any third-party stream, provider, metadata source, or cloud service will be available or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, provider outages, or unavailable content arising from use of PeekTv or third-party services.

13. Termination

Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using PeekTv at any time. Subscription cancellation does not automatically create a refund.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, law, or third-party requirements. Continued use after an update takes effect indicates acceptance where permitted by law.

16. Contact and notices

General legal questions and copyright or infringement notices may be sent to [email protected]. A notice should identify the work or right involved, the relevant location or material, your contact details, and a good-faith explanation.
